Great bargain with a unique look and feel to it...
I found this on the internet and just had to buy it! When I received it in the mail, I was definitely pleased with it. It was bigger than I imagined and had a hand painted look to it. It is now the center piece in my ocean themed great room. I noticed someone else had this piece and when I asked them where they git it from, they said they found it in Portugal and paid nearly twice as much as I did for it! Great deal, cannot pass it up.

delivered exactly as shown
We ordered this for our nautical themed nursery. It was exactly as shown in the picture. It is a cool alternative to a framed picture. The delivery was free and arrived quickly which I was very happy about. The only problem I had was that a couple of the "metal ropes"on two of the sailboat were bent a bit out of shape, but I was able to bend it back where it looks decent up close. Otherwise we are happy with our purchase.

nice decoration
purchased this for a guest room with a nautical theme. Looks very attractive. The colors are a little softer, not as bright as I had expected, but still look very nice in this room. I had a bit of a problem with hanging it by myself. Another pair of hands would make it a lot easier. Also, one small area was bent a little, but I was able to correct this easily.

Not a toy, but nice
I wouldn't really call this a toy, it's rather something that looks nice on a shelf. It's bigger than I thought it would be and they sent two sets of sails, one dark blue and one white. It was easy to put together and looks very nice.

Nice boat, great price!
My daughter was asking for the Easter Bunny to bring her a toy schooner, and I needed to have it in Massachusetts in less than a week. I looked on Amazon and Handcrafted Model Ships in California was really the only vendor who had something like this, reasonably priced. It came before the week ended, and there was one happy 8-yr old on Easter morning. She took it to her Nanny's house and sat it on the Easter Dinner table. Thank you!

Looks much better in person!!! 2 years later still [played with
I am really excited for this toy. I bought it during the "toy of the day sale" but it looks so much better in person. I thought it was a simple bath toy but now realize it has linking abilities, shape sorters, and mildew resistant coating. The toys all float well and they look extremely well made. Not to mention the great packaging that drew my daughter to it as soon as it came out of the shipping box! My daughter absolutely loves them already!!! I have to admit when I bought them I did not pay too much attention to them due to the wonderful sale that Amazon had, but now I am extremely happy with my purchase!!Update 2009- We still have these in our bathtub and unlike many other bath toys these are still around. Both my kids love to hook them together (a little difficult as the water does separate them often). My kids learned both colors and shapes from these toys and they have not had any mildew or anything. I am extremely happy with this purchase :)

BEST bath toy ive encountered!
These bath toys have something you wouldn't normally think of as wonderful till after you've owned enough to see that bath toys accumulate MILDEW! these do NOT which makes them last forever. I used to throw away bath toy after bath toy because of mildew getting stuck inside the toy or in small cracks. these do not have a hole that lets in water that cannot get out. my son has really enjoyed these and lines them up and matches the shapes. really wonderful toy that can LAST!

A fun way to learn in the tub
Not only does each boat have a shape on its sail, the same shape is on the base of its sail post and in the deck of the boat. For example, the star-shaped post of the orange boat will only fit into the star-shaped hole on the orange boat's deck. It's a fun way to practice fine motor skills as well as learning shapes and colors.
